The Class
In The Class, pupils in a particularly boring lesson drift off into their own fantasy worlds to pass the time. These dreams however have a habit of slipping into reality….
It was produced by young people in Immingham through a series of workshops with Blueprint: Film Foundation. The group wrote the story and script, shot the film, starred in it and made decisions in the post production process.
The film was shown at the Cannes Film Festival 2010 in the Short Film Corner.
The project was funded by First Light which is a filmmaking initiative for young people, funded by the BFI and the National Lottery.
